Case studies, pricing figures, and the build log are accurate as of the date shown. Sites get redesigned and prices can change without a rewrite of this paragraph. If you're relying on a specific number from this site, confirm it's still current before repeating it back to me.
Using the tools on this site
The Scope Builder, the cost calculator, and the free site audit are free to use, no account required. Don't script requests against the audit tool to abuse someone else's server through it — the rate limits exist because that's exactly the kind of misuse they're built to stop.
No warranty on the website itself
This site is provided as-is. I try to make sure nothing on it is broken — the build log is evidence I actually fix things when they are — but I'm not liable for decisions made based on information published here.
A real project is a separate agreement
Hiring Grid & Frame to build something means a written scope, a fixed price, and a timeline agreed before work starts — see the FAQ for how that actually works. These site-wide terms don't cover that agreement; the agreement covers itself.
Governing law
New York State, since that's where Grid & Frame is based.
Changes to this page
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. There's no separate mailing list announcing edits to a page most people never revisit.
